When Bill Richardson announced his endorsement of Barack Obama, James Carville hit back with his usual hyperbolic vitrol.
"Mr. Richardson's endorsement came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic," Carville whined.
So, if Richardson is Judas, doesn't that make Hillary equal to Jesus Christ in Carville's eyes?
It's this kind of gutter politics that America is rejecting and all Carville is doing is adding more ice to the political Titanic that the Clintons are steering in the Presidential race.
With Richardson beside him, Obama's super-delegate stock should be shooting up the charts this week. Pennsylvania may just be the iceberg that Hillary was hoping to avert.
